The Apostle Frederick Price Ministry Training Institute (AFPMTI) is accredited by Transworld Accrediting Commission International and offers an Associate of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies. The school curriculum is designed to train, equip and empower you for ministry. You do not have to be called to a five-fold ministry office to enroll in AFPMTI, this school is for everyone who desires to increase their knowledge of God’s word. The two year program requires the completion of 84 units to graduate. The cost for tuition is $40/unit. The classes range from 1 to 3 units, see the curriculum below for more details. Applicants who have attended other schools may transfer units from ministry or expository composition courses. Those who wish to transfer units, must submit an official transcript and pay a $10 fee to have a Custom Education Plan developed.

Graduates of AFPMTI may advance their degree by enrolling in the International Faculty of Theology Program (FACULTAD). FACULTAD is a six month academic bridge program that offers a custom Bachelor degree in Christian Ministry. Their degree opens the door to the Master Degree programs at Azusa Pacific University Graduate School of Theology.

AFPMTI operates on the trimester system. Fall = September – December; Winter = January – April and Spring = April – July. This ministry school has open enrollment and allows new enrollments at the beginning of each trimester. There are 3 trimesters in each year and each trimester consists of 12 weeks. During the 12 weeks, six classes are scheduled: 2 plus Ministry Lab on Tuesday and 3 classes on Thursday. The 6th class will be offered on a Saturday during the trimester and will be 8 hours for one day only. Weekday classes are 45 minutes each with a five minute break between classes. The Ministry Lab is not a class, but an important part of ministry education which requires student attendance and participation. Although students do not receive a letter grade for Ministry Lab they do receive a Pass or No Pass which carries a 1 unit value for achieving Pass status.

The general public may audit classes at AFPMTI for a nominal fee. Auditing allows individuals to attend a ministry class the entire trimester without enrolling in the ministry school. A one-time fee of $50 is paid per class and there is no requirement to do assignments or take exams. As a result, no school credit is earned. If any classwork is done a grade is not recorded or maintained by the school office. Those who choose to audit do not pay an application or registration fee nor do they pay tuition.

Class Breaks occur during the following months:
March - April - (2 Trimester Breaks)
July - September - (Summer Break)
November - (Thanksgiving Break)
December - January - (Winter Break)

The application, registration fee and tuition are due at the time you apply. You also have the option to pay tuition at Orientation. There are 3 payment plans available for tuition payments: 1) Pay in full on or by Orientation (usually the Thursday before classes start) 2) Pay 2 installments – 1st by Orientation, the 2nd instalment is due the Thursday before final exams or 3) Pay 4 installments – Make 1 payment each month with the last payment due by Thursday before final exams.
